Font Design
Developed segment fonts, a typeface specifically Ola S1X scooter. I began by research, creating sketches to prioritised readability, understanding budget and seamlessly integrated into coding environments.
Font Design & Pith Work
This 23 segment font was selected over a 28 segment font as this helped in cost cutting and got a huge impact on business side. The character had better legibility. Had better consistency in terms of counter, crotch and terminals.
Defined logic in font forge for 7 segments
Unwanted kerning if 1 comes after zero.
Left segments lits if 1 is on the right side of “0”.
Right segments lits if 1 is on the left side of “0”
Designed a 23-segment & 7-segment font for a multi-billion-dollar product. It took 10 days from research to final TTF file completion.
